Join us for lunch on May 9th for out final CNSA meeting of the semester where Staff Sergeant Scott Thorne, a patient of the VA San Diego Healthcare System, will share a 10 minute documentary about his personal recovery after sustaining a penetrating brain injury in Mosul, Iraq, and will discuss the assistance the VA provides in his continued battle. VA Nurse Jane Edens will detail the opportunities available in VA nursing, and what it takes to serve this specific population.
